"South America travel photos"
The website presents photographs from Central American
countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Peru.
All the pictures were taken by Anita Kucharska and Maciek "Kruger" Kiersztyn,
during the travels to South America in 2001 and 2003. The travels itineraries are
shown on the maps of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, also included here.
Photos from Argentina show Iguazu (Iguacu) falls, natural bridge Puente del Inca (The Inca Bridge), the capital Buenos Aires, glacier Perito Moreno near El Calafate and the town of Ushuaia in the Land of Fire.
Photos from Bolivia picture floating islands of Indians Uru and the Titicaca Lake, the capital La Paz, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, cooperative mines in Potosi, salt flat Uyuni (Salar de Uyuni) and nearby lagoons (Laguna Colorada, Laguna Verde, Laguna Blanca).
In Brazil you can see the swamp of Pantanal and the city of Cuiaba, the capital - Brasilia, Salvador de Bahia, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, amazon jungle and the capital of Amazonas: Manaus.
In Chile we present photos of the capital - Santiago de Chile, National Park Torres del Paine and glacier Grey nearby Puerto Natales, Magellan penguins sanctuary - Isla Magdalena, harbor of Punta Arenas, geysers del Tatio and the Atacama Desert (Moon Valley, Death Valley) close to San Pedro de Atacama.
In Peru the pictures show Machu Picchu and Inca Trail, the Titicaca Lake and Island Taquile and Moon Island, Canyon Colca and the white city of Arequipa as well as the Nazca (Nasca) plateau with its famous geoglyphics drawings.
